Hi there, one of my sons is currently building a Seraphon force as his 2nd army (after Stormcast Eternals). As it stands his army is:
Lord Kroak
Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur
Engine of the Gods
40 Skinks
20 Saurus Warriors
We visited Warhammer World last week and he picked up the Ripperdactyl/Terradon box for £15 but we've not built in yet and were wondering which people have found to be the better option of the two in AOS?
I'm leaning towards Ripperdactyls due to the vicious beak attack but I wonder are there ways to buff Seraphons to hit roll as I've not found anything as yet.
Rippers are a good unit and good placement of there toad really helps there beak attack combined with swoop and dive they have a chance of killing/badly hurting most units, they also work well in holding units up while the slower unuts get there. I'd choose these.
Cheers, looking into it more I've found if combined with the Skink Chief and the Shadowstrike Starhost means you're deep striking, hitting on 3s, wounding on 2s, both with reroll, and any hits gain an additional attack.
