The world survived the fall of the Roman empire and will no doubt outlast our own so much more splendid civilisation.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Lol. That's hilarious.

Though as I look up the definition of planet, it seems the Moon would actually qualify as a planet IF it wasn't orbiting Earth as a natural satellite.

The definitions of many astronomical objects seem to be relative to what is around the object in question.

Interestingly, The Earth also goes around The Moon, or rather they both orbit around a point somewhere in space (barycenter). So some people might consider ours a double planet system (binary planet). Although The Sun and Jupiter also orbit around a point in space, so go figure. I think a lot of it is just about convention.

That was really funny anyway, but also a little disappointing.
