Has anyone any experiences with it I haven't played it yet.
Some youtube movies look great but some aspects seem to be a bit chunky

I can see this being reported to Relic/Sega very quickly. They've lifted resources directly from the Dawn of War games and are charging for it. That's a huge problem. If they weren't charing for it I could have seen them turning a blind eye.

They're not charging for it. Those are free, fan made mods. The game itself does not have those. If you want them, you have to import them from an external host.

Honestly?
best was Dawn of War and the add ons.
That and Space Hulk from PS1.
Back in the real early days, 1990, we had this one called.... Vassel.

... when someone who was playing Warmachine using Vassal showed up in the rules forum, you could tell immediately because they were under the mistaken impression that you could play the game strictly from the top-down perspective. 
So there's a lot to be said for "3D Vassal".... I mean, Table Top Simulator.

Vassal s still in use, and it works great except for the occasional server issues
But this 3d thingy seems even better.
