Have a store championship in my area next week, was looking for some feedback on which of the two pilots works better
Poe or Wedge.... here are the lists
Poe - R5P9 VI
Biggs - R2D2 Integrated AM
Bandit
Bandit
Bandit
or
Wedge - R2D2 VI Integrated AM
Biggs - R5P9 Integrated AM
Bandit
Bandit
Bandit
Obviously I can rearrange things a bit but those are the two options I am considering
So which pilot works better? I expect to see the Bro Bots, a Fat Decimator (I really hate this build) plus plenty of other aces lists
cheers

I would go with the Poe list for the simple fact that Poe is new and people don't have a lot of experience against him. Not to mention that the T-70 is better than the T-65.

Should Poe have IAM? Assume it's just a typo.
I'd probably go with list 1, but should you decide on list 2, may I suggest switching the AMechs? My thinking being if Biggs is doing his job, Wedge is more likely to hang on to a focus token and Biggs is more likely to need it, and R2D2 will be a shield for Biggs every turn you want it to be.

If I had to pick one I'd take the first list. Poe is just better than Wedge, especially with Biggs making sure he'll be around as your endgame ship.

I like Wedge just as much if not more than Poe. Wedge just isn't working the way I would want him to if I were to write a list to include him.
This is more like how I'd do it:
Wedge 29 points
-Push the Limit 3 points
-BB-8 2 points
-Engine Upgrade 4 points
Miranda Doni 29 points
-Twin Laser Turret 6 points
Gold Squadron Pilot 18 points
-Twin Laser Turret 6 points
-R5- D8 3 points (not sold on this, but it would be fun to try)
So that way you have one regenerating flying tank and another brick of hull points that can toss damage cards, and two twin laser turrets, to make up for Wedge's fragile offensive nature. Send in the Y and K to soak up fire first then Wedge to clean house.
A Falcon or VCX-100 (when it comes out) would make a good partner for Wedge as well. Something big and tough and threatening to take the brunt of fire off Wedge. Biggs isn't very threatening and people only shoot him because they have to. That besides, he's not that tough (even with IA) and three bandit Zs don't do anything to draw attention

I have used Gold TLTs to great effect, I have never used a K-Wing so that wouldnt work for me, I agree that a large ship would help..... the three zeds work like ties, in formation and all together they can pose a threat
I have 2 extra points in the Wedge list so I could drop VI and put in PTL
Cheers

Just chucking PTL on Wedge won't work.
The idea with that setup is to select a green maneuver, use BB8, push the limit off that action to add an offense boost, execute the green maneuver, clear the stress from PTL then you're free to boost if needed to correct your position or take another offensive action if you're free to do so.
Bingo, a massive range of manovering options, a potentially fully boosted shot every turn and no stress!

I'd combine them.
Poe, R5P9, Draw Their Fire
Wedge, R2D2, maybe VI
Biggs, R2F2, Stealth
Biggs, activates the droid so he's doing 4 green dice minimum per turn.
Poe stays close and does the Focus dance. If an uncancelled Crit gets through Biggs, Poe takes it, then regens the shield with his unused Focus.
Wedge continues to irritate opponents the way he always does.
If you want to keep Biggs around an extra turn or 2, replace Wedge with Garvin Dries (R2D2, VI) so you can pass the focus off to Biggs in case he rolls like cr@p.

Beat me to it Azreal. That was exactly what I had in mind
