I'm probably going to be competing in a Store Championship soon. Since I'm most used to flying Imperials and the Mist Hunter/Jump Master will not have dropped by the time these tournaments will be taking place, I'll probably just bring the most effective (read: cheesiest, boring-est, netlisting-est) list I can. Disclaimer: while I may have a few friends at the event, I don't plan on making any with my comp.

Without further ado, the list:

Omicron Group Pilot (21)
-Emperor Palpatine (8)

Wampa (14)

Soontir Fel (27)
-Push the Limit (3)
-Autothrusters (2)
-Royal Guard TIE (0)
-Stealth Device (3)

Storm Squadron Pilot (21)
TIE x/1 (0)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)

I know stormies aren't the best for ATC, but the way I see it, if Wampa gets blown up in the initial pass, and I can scrap 1-2 of their ships early on, the Advanced can just keep one target locked for most of the rest of the game and either barrel roll to keep him in arc/range or focus/evade to try and stay alive, while Palpatine gives him an extra hit with his primary or an extra dodge to keep him alive when he inevitably gets shot at and rolls blank greens.

And we all know how Soontir Fel works.

What do you think? Can I make it any worse, er, I mean, better?

Honestly, dropping Wampa and upgrading the Storm to Vader is probably the way to go, Pal + 2 Aces is a tried and tested formula at this level.

Being able to stick some damage on Poe or Miranda that they cant evade with their fancy tricks and shield regen is really tempting

I can see that that's tempting, but it's only moderately useful against anything tankier than an X Wing, which will likely just carry on regardless.

You'll win the first pass no question, but I fear for your end game, especially if there's anything suited to taking down Fel or you just get some bad luck.
