This is my second game at the Rotwater Blight Throne of skills from earlier this month. My orcs take an a combined force of stormcast eternals and Empire troops. My orcs are in the middle of a ritual and the forces of order are rudely trying to interrupt it.
Glad to see the first match was so close, despite his (IMO obnoxiously) obviously larger/meaner army. I was really hoping your gaggle of greenskins could pull it off in the face of that aggression ... but props for coming so close all the same
Do feel bad for the skink player, very much shows the weakness of just using model cap. Lad wanted to roll his skinks out - as a dude with a fondness for skinks-n-krox lists myself, I feel that - but likely never had a hope in hell at the event. Under SDK he could have nearly brought double what he had to match your orcs and have a proper game, but that'd be about 150 models! Nothing wrong with that ... when you aren't using model totals
I'm with Boss Salvage: that army in game three was about double your army in effectiveness, and it should have been painfully obvious when one half of his army was equal to your entire force. The writeups were good though, thanks for posting!
