Putting together my Domininus Maniple and I was wondering if it's worth to give the alpha any upgrades. I'm strongly leaning to leaving him stock and run them cheap but I wanted to get some opinions from people who have actually played with them.

If you're running just the dominus maniple, cheap is a good way to go. If the vanguard are going to be running arc rifles, an arc pistol isn't a bad upgrade, but id stop there outside of a war convocation.

The ark rifle was the only special weapon weapon that caught my eye. The other two are to expensive for what they give.

For guns for the alpha? Eh the base radium carbine is good enough

If you have the points, cant go wrong with an arc maul and conversion field.
