I don't know if this has been asked before, but I figure I'd ask

what's the best case/transport for tyrannic models, not really looked at the new GW cases yet, so if you have one, I'd like your opinion too

I've already got an old GW small case and a KR case, both for my BA army, so I have experience of the old GW trays and KR standard trays

what other sites or companies do you use and recommend?

Brotherhood of the Damned 20,580

Nids 1,900

5,800

Wouldn't get the GW for Nids. All those spiky bits are going to snap off, especially for the big bugs. You're probably better off looking at cases where you can customize foam space.

Magnets are also good for transport, less chance of things snapping off.

Battlefoam is another one that gets brought up a lot. I’ve also heard that their firmer foam is less likely to catch and snag on spiky bits then the softer KR foam, but have no personal experience there.

In general, I’m a big fan of KR. Especially if you already have some, it might be wise to stick with it. Their foam/box/bag system works well for expanding your transport collection.

Yes, definitely less snag on the denser BF foam. However, you have to ensure that the slots are big enough to entirely fit the model whereas the softer KR foam is much more accommodating.
