Hey guys was looking for just some info, I'm super new to 30k and havent got any of the books yet.

Im looking to start iron warriors,
Q1- Do iron warriors get to use jetbikes? I really like the FW ones they brought out
Q2- What turned iron warriors to chaos? and If I recall correctly they are chaos undivided.
Q3- Can I use 40k rhinos and stuff in 30k? just to keep the cost down really
Q4-Do they get to use imperial or any knights? no way am i buying titans though aha

2. Mostly, Perturabo was just pissed that everybody else got the kudos while he did the dirty work.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.

Perturabo watched fulgrim turn into a deamon primarch and was like "mmmhhhhhh, i got to get me some of that......". It was more or less a acknowledgement of the power one could get if they were to harness the power of chaos.

Actually it has been said that Perturabo was very on the fence on the joining Horus and was later said to regret the decision once the true nature of chaos was revealed but by then it was too late. But it was the pissed off about being treated like the garrison legion by the Emperor that pushed him into the traitor camp. Speculation but it might be the reason there were so many loyalist IWs even after they knew what was going on, that and the average marine wasnt a fan of Perturabo anyway.

Perturabo is one of the coolest models forgeworld has done IMO and I like the fluff of them so far

1) Yes. The Legions were massive organisations and every unit type would have been available to every Legion. While they are most famous for siegework and artillery, they'd still have decent motorpools, recon companies, aerial squadrons etc.
2) Perturabo spent a long, long time watching his Sons get ground up and bogged down in attrition wars. Meanwhile his brothers got the flashy, heroic jobs that got them all the glory with none of the casualties. He was a very bitter, jealous warrior who could have easily done the fun jobs, but was so typecast into his role that he never had an opportunity to demonstrate himself. When he loses his homeworld to rebellion he has something of a breakdown and throws in his lot with Horus, naturally leading to Chaos.
3) Yes, the 40k variant existed during the Heresy. There's even artwork painted in iron Warrior colours in the third book.
4) You can take an allied contingent of Knights Questoris. I think there's a minimum buy-in of 2 though.
