I haven't played WHFB since....think 6th edition. I did toy with the idea of starting a Wood Elf army during 8th Edition but the models didn't really grab me. I did however love the fantasic new Treemen - awesome, scary looking creatures a million miles from my old Maruader Treeman.

However, the models coming out for AoS have got me interested in perhaps giving it a go. I think that with the slightly off-the-wall reimaginings and advances in sculpting I think that Wood Elves (Wanderers, yes?) and Sylvaneth might be gorgeous (or just awful).

I haven't read much of the fluff on AoS...just what I've picked up from 1d4Chan, Wikipedia, etc.

Does anybody have any educated guesses about what kind of models Wanderers and Sylvaneth might get? Or failing that, what kind of models are people hoping to see?

Gathering the Informations.

Sylvaneth are, seemingly for the moment, complete. They've (no pun intended) been branched out into their own army now.

Wanderers? No clue. We haven't seen anything about the Aelves at all in AoS from what I've gotten. We know there's a new Pantheon for Sigmar and his allies.
Tyrion is the blind god of Light and Teclis is his eyes and high priest.
Alarielle is the Everqueen and rules the Realm of Life.
Malerion is Malekith after he was slain in the End Times; his death fusing him with his Black Dragon apparently.

I expect we are not going to see anything on the Aelves until we get to the slaanesh plot line.
