So I am looking to get a campaign book and was wondering which one you guys thought was the best for missions and what not? Im between Ghal Maraz and GA :Chaos, but open to the others like the new balance of power. What would you say is your favorite and why?

The Grand Alliance book does not have any Battleplans.
I would honestly start with the Age of Sigmar hardback (the first one), as it has some good, solid Battleplans and, well, it is the first! If you already have it, go for Ghal Maraz.
The Battletomes also have missions, and some very good ones, but they only have three in each so are of less value unless you are also interested in the other material within them. I would seriously recommend those in the Dreadhold book but, of course, you will need a Dreadhold as well!

If you just want the missions and rules content you might want to consider the battlepacks in the app where you can buy all the rules content from a hardback for about a 1/4 of the price.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-) |

If you have access to "legions of middle earth" those scenarios work pretty well

A lot of those old lord of the rings and hobbit scenarios from all the books translate over very well, after we got bored to tears with AoS scenarios we started checking out other games scenarios, those so far had been the best.
