Hi all.

My local group has gotten into AoS and we're slowly scaling up our games. I currently have the following 30 wound list, but I'm looking to upgrade to 50.

Alarielle the Radiant
High Elf prince on Elven Steed
Sisters of Averlorn x10
Sisters of Averlorn x10

Upgrade options. I need 20 more wounds.

15 archers and Lothern Sea Helm
Dragon Mage
Flamespyre Phoenix
Bolt throwers
Elyrian reavers
Pheonix Guard

What do you all recomend?

Thanks in advance!

From my experience playing HE in AoS myself and currently at 75 wounds:

-Drop the Elyrian Reavers. I have 10 of them and they're not amazing.

-Bolt throwers are deadly and a lot of fun.

-The dragon mage is alright but any dragon configuration without the enchanted shield is way more fragile than you would expect.

-If you do get a dragon and you have 20 wounds to fill, I suggest a Prince on Dragon with a Master of Hoeth. Hand of glory on a Prince on Dragon is brutal. Don't forget the shield.

-Phoenix Guards are a great idea, especially to combine with the Sisters of Averlorn. Deploy them in a line BEHIND the sisters, so they still get their counter charge shot, and then pile in with the Guards from behind, who can hit at 2" range.

-The Phonenix is great and would work well with a Master of Hoeth as well.

Considering you have two heroes already I would go with a Bolt Thrower and 13 Phoenix Guards for a start.

A Dragon with an enchanted shield is unstoppable.

Thanks for the feedback. Had no idea that a Dragon Prince was so powerful.

Think I'll go with the bolt thrower and Phoenix Guard and when I move up another wounds/points bracket swap out the Prince on a Steed for a Prince on a Dragon.
