Just starting this up today as I was doing Math-hammer. Here is what I came up with for 1000 points on Night Lords:

Detatchment - Terror Tactics

(1) HQ - Praetor w/ Jump Pack, Nost. Glaive - 130

(7) Raptors - Ser. w/ Glaive and Melta Bombs - 205

(5) Terror Squad - w/ 4 Volkite Chargers, Sergeant w/ Glaive, Melta Bombs - 160

(5) Terror Squad - w/ 4 Volkite Chargers, Sergeant w/ Glaive, Melta Bombs - 160

(5) Terror Squad - Sergeant w/ Glaive - 135

(5) Terminators - Sergeant w/ Glaive, 1 Plasma Blaster, 1 Chainfist, 1 Lightening Claw, 1 Lightening Claw - 210

Total - 1000 pts

I figure this would be most effective. Decent Assault bonuses with Raptors + Praetor, Terminators can handle any dreads or tanks + kick ass in CC, Volkite Chargers really boost 2 Terror Squads up. 3rd Squad is mandatory for Detatchment and will act as an objective holder.

It also makes the most of deep strike advantages, infiltrate, etc.

Thoughts or help is much appreciated. I've been toying with swapping out a Contemptor Dread.

For a 1k point force you could go with a cheaper Delegatus, who would give you access to the Terror Tactics RoW.

For 110pts, you be getting the Delegatus, with the Chain Glaive, Refractor Field, and Jump pack, plus by being a Delegatus you can Master Craft the Glaive for free.

for 120 points you'd get all that and Artificer amor.

So either way you get an additional 20 or 10 points to play with.
