Firstly, I'm extremely new to WM and i've been soul searching for an army to play. Cygnar seems to draw my attention the most simply because I like ranged combat (I still play militarum tempestus in w40k ) and their mobility (which is funny i say this as this list won't move much). The models that really catch my eye are the trenchers. I figured that i would want to make to really awesome proxies for these guys using the French Old Guard box set from Victrix.

Here is what they look like!

http://www.victrixlimited.com/collections/28mm-napoleonics/products/napoleons-old-guard-grenadiers I think they would be sick!
Can you tell me if these guys could pass for trenchers^ (I already have enough 30mm bases)

So i would like some advice on this trencher list I quickly threw together. Now, I know that trenchers aren't the most effective guys around because they cost big $$. Although, I heard that the commandos are alright (is this correct?). I not really looking for a extremely strong competitive army, just something that would be awesome to look at and play with. But, the occasional win would be fine by me.

ON TO THE LIST!

I can tell you that any type of even moderate armor skew is going to make you very very sad indeed. Outside of feat you nothing to deal with arm18+, and many factions can get quite a bit of that on the table.

Any reasonably fast melee list will also give your list fits as they'll tie you up in melee and then your list falls apart. Pure static gunlines just don't work in WMHs as scenario play(which the game is balanced around) punishes it.

As for those proxy models, thats something you need to ask your gaming group.

At 35, something as simple as dropping some of the weapon attachments (probably grenadiers and a scatter) and minuteman for a Defender could really help At 50 you'd need to do a bit more, but at 35 that could be enough. And the Defender is a cool looking (in my opinion) warjack, so there's that

So taking your feedback into account would this be enough anti armor to deal with factions like Khador?

Just remember you don't double halve armour with the hunters. So they ignore siege's feat basically. Just in case that rule interaction slipped by

Khador isn't really an armor skew faction. They're a drown you in dudes faction.

And you still lack heavy hitting, particularly melee hitting. Ranged hitting doesn't cut the mustard except to weaken the enemy on approach, it doesn't really close out the game well unless your opponent exposes his war caster.

You need an ironclad or something that can punch stuff.
