Simple put question, in my search for the 8th edition book for Warriors of Chaos, how can you tell what is what? How can you tell say what the 8th edition is over the 7th edition? I'm wondering before I spend and buy the wrong book.

I think you'd just need to compare the publication date with the WHFB releases (here)

Or just do a google image search for each edition and compare covers.

GW never realy had "editions" in army books.

You could always just check the GW site. They only sell current books, they don't deal in dated editions.
