Hello there!

Been a while (I've said that several times...) since I have dabbled in Warhammer stuff. And due to the new Age of Sigmar changes, I now have a decent sized (30ish Ogres) Ogre army that doesn't have anything to do! I have been thinking on what to do with them, and one idea was to recycle them, to try and use them to make up a new Army for 40k. But the problem is....what?

My two thoughts were somehow a mass of Ogryn or some sort of Nurgle business. I could load them up with army and maybe counts as Terminators, but that is a LOT of terminators.

So my question is, what viable conversions or counts as do you see a bunch of Fantasy Ogres being good for? And if I can keep them still Ogre-ish enough to play the odd game of Fantasy if it ever comes back, then all the better. Thoughts? Ideas?

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.

Make them loot Tau weapons and use them as Battlesuits?

I can totally see them going all Ork on looted tech. That or maybe make them some sort of sanctioned Ogryns that have experimental Grav Packs (still using battlesuit rules here).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I use them as Inquisitorial servitors when they are converted.
You might also want to look at the renegade books they might have some nice rules for them.

Inactive, user. New profile might pop up in a while
