Let me begin by saying this question is purely motivated by my OCD. I purchased the Betrayal at Calth box with the Raven Guard Task Force from forgeworld a little while back, and as I've been looking at what is included I realized that the plastics and the resin end up being a mix of MK IV and MK VI armour. While I understand that as far as how the Heresy went that isn't exactly unheard of, my OCD would prefer to keep the armour sets pure. So, what my question is, what do I need to pick up to make these armour sets complete and whole? The task force comes with MK IV Raven guard shoulder pads, meaning I can assemble all the MK IV plastics and simply replace the left shoulder with the resin upgrade kit and have an accurate representation of MK IV Raven Guard armour, correct? I'm not fully certain how the markings worked in the Heresy era stuff, and some of the paint examples on forge world's own website show the legion markings on the right shoulder pad.

Next comes what to do with all the MK VI stuff the kit came with, 30 Raven Guard torsos, and 30 Raven Guard MK VI helmets. I assume if I want true MK VI armour I need to purchase an additional 30 MK VI basic suits and the MK VI Raven Guard shoulder pads? My question about those is does the Raven Guard Marking go on the left or the right? The MK VI kits have the studded left shoulder Pad which leads me to believe that isn't where the legion marking goes. Just curious what anyone else has done and how the HH books depict it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit: Edited because I spell like a dyslexic two year old...

Ordinarily the legion marking goes on the marines left with the squad marking on the right. On MkVI the legion marking moves to the right and the squad marking either goes below it on the pad or somewhere else on the armour such as one of the kneepads - the MkVI Raven Guard shoulderpad set actually has the legion emblem reversed to reflect this.

I thought something looked different about the MK VI pads! I couldn't put my finger on it till you pointed it out though, thank you sir! That makes it even more apparent I should just put the MK IV pads on the basic plastics and keep the MK VI stuff till I can actually build some MK VI Raven Guard.
