Please pick this apart. I'm thinking of replacing my triple T70 list with this:
Blue Squadron Pilot (22)
Fire-Control System (2)
Ion Cannon (3)
Tactician (2)
B-Wing/E2 (1)
Blue Squadron Pilot (22)
Fire-Control System (2)
Ion Cannon (3)
Tactician (2)
B-Wing/E2 (1)
Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
R3-A2 (2)
BTL-A4 Y-Wing (0)
Prototype Pilot (17)
Chardaan Refit (-2)
Total: 100

The combination of Ion + Stress control is attractive, but I feel like you're sacrificing too much raw firepower for that. In particular, I don't think a blocker ship is a valuable force multiplier in these stress and control lists - ostensibly the stress by itself prevents the enemy ships from taking actions. I would drop the ion cannons and FCS from the B-Wings in favor of a more typical Panic Attack build, but using an ion stressbot as your fourth ship (as frustrating as it is, you can't quite fit a TLT in there).

If you want to do the ion+stress thing, I think you would do better with K-Wings. I also think you should use a Z-95 with an Ion Pulse Missile as a filler ship, as it can start the ion gravy train, and then later act as a blocker in place of the A-Wing.
Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
R3-A2 (2)

Warden Squadron Pilot (23)

Bandit Squadron Pilot (12)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)

...but even then, you might still be better off just focusing purely on stress mechanics. There has just been too much power creep since the ion weapons were first introduced, they are no longer point-efficient upgrade cards.

I could always forego the a-wing and the ion cannons, and upgrade them to HLCs, give the y-wing a TLT and bombs. Automatically Appended Next Post: But then the more expensive bombs are action based. And I don't need an initiative bid.
Darn.
Would you recomment your lists above a triple T70 one? Automatically Appended Next Post: Or this?

I like the second one. Fire Control Systems are very desirable on B-Wings, and blount can help you shut down one ship during the first pass.

Especially if the b-wings fly slow enough to capitalize on that ion hit. Which they *ought* to be able to do. Automatically Appended Next Post: Now, though, to BTL, or not?

On a stresshog? Always BTL.
2 stress is powerful because your victim can't just blow it off with a green maneuver next turn.

I don't think that a pair of B's are quite up to stuff vs. TLT's and Imperial Aces that were all over my store championship last weekend.
I'd probably replace that part of the list with a regenerating ace of some kind... VI Poe or a Miranda w/Chewie.

I think Blue Squads are still pretty viable in pairs with FCS on both. Their problem, as you said, is arc dodgers. So just bring along a heavy hitter turret like Miranda+ TLT+Gunner and a Z95 to fill points and you're golden.
Tactician, while good, I think is better to have on one ship with Gunner rather than two ships. It's much more cost efficient that way. And if you brought an Ion Cannon it's super nasty:
Take 1 damage, Ion, and stress and then you can't action because you do a white maneuver, or take a face full of primary weapon and a second stress token, ensuring you lose your action either way. It's a lose-lose scenario.
If you want to run Tactician B-Wing, a cheap Keyan Farlander (comparatively to outfitting with Heavy Laser and Opportunist and C3P0) with Ion Cannon, VI, FCS and E2+Tactician is, I think, certainly viable for only 38 points. He can easily shut down aces like Whisper or Soontir. Even Vader. Just be sure to bring few enough points to get that intiative or you'll be sorry. His pilot ability is just icing on the cake.
Or you can just try to snuff the Ace with Ten Numb+Mangler+ FCS+ VI. Same points, effectively PS10 and those free crits will start to add up into hurt.

I'm still torn between my "elite" t70s list and going all generic. I got one vote against ion cannons, one vote for.
Pass the antacids...

I'd run with the Elite t70's. First... it is a list that you know well. Second, I feel that it matches better with the lists you are likely to go against. Brobots have come on strong here in the US... generics don't fair well in my experience. It'll fair better against Palp-Aces as well.

I'm giving the Blount/Stresshog/2Bs list a shake tonight, just to see if I can at least lay a bead on Soontir. Or get rid of Howlrunner.

I went 200-0 with the list. I was able to draw a bead on Soontir in the first turn, which allowed me to pound him again on the second turn... He had 4 stress tokens by then, which was hilarious.
The list just feels like a brick, though. It doesn't maneuver nimbly at all. So I'll probably go back to T70s, even though it's a bit more dice dependent.

It just needs love and practice, and it will flower like a beautiful bird. B-Wings in particular have an underrated dial.

My friend said I barely g9t to use my tacticians because I was always firing at range 1. I don't understand the problem.

Sadly, B-Wings and Y-Wings can only equip torpedoes.
