I have really gotten into third, I was wondering if anyone else out there really likes any older editions and mainly plays them.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.

A new day, a new time zone.

It's fun to go back to the really old stuff, like 2nd edition, where it was a completely different game from time to time, but none of the previous editions from 3rd on has held my interest once the new one came out.

It's fun for nostalgia, but it usually doesn't last, and I find myself back at the current edition before too long. And this is coming from someone who just bought a mostly intact third edition starter set...ah, those glorious jungle trees!

I simply didn't make the transition to 7th so for me it's not exactly a matter of opting to play older editions. They're all I have. Recently I found an opponent for 5th edition so that's what I'll play.

The Imperial Navy, A Galatic Force for Good.

Me. I play forth edition and have no desire to move past it.

First, Second and Third are all quite distinctive and very different games. I wish I had more time to break out and play the older rulesets from time to time.

Well, I regret that in your gaming group we never play older editions. Most games are played according to maelstrom rules.
