So we are starting a 10 week Shifting loyalties campaign today.

Wondering what might be a good 35 point crew. No masters until week 6. Max of 3 games a week. Henchmen only to lead. Max of 1 upgrade allowed to start.

Was thinking Hopkins with 3 Witchling and 1 Freikorps Specialist to lay down the flaming.

Also thought hungering darkness to leader a band of Illuminated. (Hungering would cost 8 SS)

Any of these seems like a pretty good start? OR is there better ones?

Hopkins, in my experience, is extremely fragile so would be a poor leader choice. I'd go Grimwell (pure theory on him, just the only other WH hench option, with magic disruption or w/e), a Handler (for potential summoning, and being a very reliable model), and stalkers, if building around Sonnia.

For darkened, that seems like a good option. I might replace an illuminated with two depleted purely because I hate being seriously outnumbered, or a beckoner for tagging something at range, but illuminated are super-reliable.

I don't know if summoning is allowed but Rusty Alyce with either From the Aether or Desolate Soul would be pretty awesome.
