Demon Prince of Khorne (wings, armor, grimoire, 2 lesser gifts) Probably 2 axes of Khorne for specialist weapon attacks. Depends on how good the roll is.

So I believe it was a couple points under 2k. I've only run it once, and it was against Mech Guard. Worked well, the big guys flew until landing was optimal. Very fast list, was in my opponent's deployment zone immediately, only a single turn to fire. I'm open to suggestions to change, as I want to tweak it, but I'm quite happy at the moment. I realize the iridscents can be swapped out for more screamers, I was limited in models at the time. So that's one change I've been considering. Grimoir'd screamers are evil. So bringing additional ones seems cruel. Kairos is boss for that re-roll on the warpstorm table.

Grinder has skyfire, winged monsters fly the skies, flamers DS in. The flies flank one side, screamers on the other, fiends up the middle. Horrors sit further back and generate warp charges for Kairos. Might be worth to pop an extra horror or two into each squad instead of the iridescents to make them Lvl2 Psykers.

If I could get some feedback, it would be much appreciated; I'm only two games in for 7th edition. And I haven't looked at ANY formation options. Where would I find formations that don't require allies?

anyway i will play a D thirster with 2 greater gifts not the basic BT
no sense spend points on rewards for horrors champion better get +1 horror in each unit and have then +2 WC
3 plague drones are useless, same for just 1 grinder
i would take out plague drones and grinder and take 2 Tz herald 3° level+disk one with grimorie and one with paradox
so you will have 14+d6 WC and you can play a good psychic phase and give your screamers a 2++ rr save,

I actually own 6 plague drones, 3 grinders, 40 or so of each lesser demon, multiples of each greater demon, 15 demon princes, 6 fiends, 8 screamers, 9 flamers, 12 nurgling bases...trust me; I have the models to run whatever I want.

I built this list with a friend while at work; he runs Skaven in whfb and doesn't use slaves. Small units that hit hard, too many targets. That was the goal here.

if you have all those models you can build most effective army list , if you want build a multi threat list you need diffent approach
for example 3 plague drones without herald aren't a treath, same for 5 fiends you need heralds to make them effective, slaanesh herald probably is one of best hearald you can have, and you need hounds they are probably the best unit demons have, fast hit hard decent resistance.

lot of fast wounds, 10 CW usually i get invisinility/shrouding you can remove seekers for another unit of screamers and make a large deathstar with 8 fiends and 3 heralds.
