Hello forum, I'm Dan and I'm new (pretty much anyway) to the hobby. I consider myself new as it has been a very long time since I have been active in the hobby. I have returned to the hobby after a 5 year hiatus. I won't go into much detail about before then, but basically all my models were unpainted and I had no one to play with so i lost interest and sold everything, bar a few templates, a bit of scenery and some codexes. Anyway, I have decided to get back into 40k, and wanted to begin a Blood Angels force, with an emphasis on close combat, especially death company as they're my favourite models. So if anyone has any advice or can point me in the right general direction for what to purchase to get into the hobby, or units that'd be a good start to my army that'd be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks in advance, and looking forward to getting to know this community a lot better.
Cheers Dan.

Welcome Dan. t would love to help you, but it has been a while since I have played 40k, and there is no doubt my information would be a little old haha.

Well you know can't go wrong with a box or two of Death Company and a box or two of tacical Marines and a Rhino (if you want to go that route) or some drop pods (always fun).
