Hello everyone.

So I have finally ordered the Lord himself Calgar for my Ultramarine army and am currently working on a 1850 list to try out next week.

Also really want to try out my new contemptor which is why its a must include.

You are a little light on anti-tank fire. I might downgrade the LCs on the talons to skyhammers, and use the points to get LCs on your dev squad. Swapping some of the tacs to melta would also be nice.

A few axes would be good in the HG.

Where is the lib going? In the pod? If that is the case, he’s going to prevent them from sweeping advance, which can be useful sometimes. I think the points spent getting him the armor/shield could be used to get another HG next to him on the table. Between the squad and Calgar, not much should be touching him.

If you buy Calgar his armor he gets relentless so can orbital bombard when stepping out of the pod. Takes an extra seat and a few points. But without it, he’s probably not standing still long enough to call down the fury.

Overall looks like a fun list.

I like the fact that you have Papa Smurf. Maybe this list will help you some.

Not really sure what your going to do with this list? I dont really see how you plan on winning against Decurion type formations

While I understand that those types of lists are the "meta" as it were, I do not believe in making every list a counter list to decurion based lists.

This list is simply to try out papa smurf and have some fun along the way.
