Hey everyone so I'm getting back into miniature games warhammer/40k. I just visited my local gaming shop (a very large one) which was once always packed full of fantasy/40k gamers. To my disappointment the store owner told me there are no people who play fantasy and 40k has died off so drastically they don't even slot out a time on their weekly schedules for 40k. Are there any other war gamers in the area? What are people mostly playing now. I always used game night to show off my painted models and now I'm feeling a little discouraged from buying/painting more miniatures.

This is my chaos painting post please give me critic!

The area North of Seattle is pretty bustling with 40k players. There are a few stores on East side of the lake that routinely have games. So the Northwest Washington area still has plenty of 40k players. I've heard less about Olympia. But I know the Tacoma GW store even started up a 30k league.

I would suggest checking out the Northwest Miniature Wargamers facebook page and asking people there if they have good leads for Olympia.

30k is Horus Heresy era. Pretty similar to 40k. There is a PNW gamers forum that I love,
