Looking for any advice regarding the following list. Adepticon rules. Dual CAD allowed, LoWs up to 700 points total.
Eldar CAD #1
Farseer + jetbike + stone
Scat bike x3
Scat bike x3
Hornet + 2x pulse
Wraithknight + scatter laser + d cannons
Eldar CAD #2
Farseer bike + spear (wysiwyg reasons)
Scat bike x3
Scat bike x3
Wraithknight sword and board + scatter laser
Voidshield generator x3 shields
Tau Firebase
Riptide + ion + sms + ewo
Missile broadside + ewo x2
Missile broadside + ewo x2
I can ditch the hornet for another unit of scat bikes, but feel like my list is lacking some AP. Any input would be awesome.
I have a second hornet, 2 more broadsides and some suits to rotate in based on suggestions.

Not sure about the VSG and the Tau addition in this list, it's too static in my view. You need to at least bring a Riptide wing to get som ROI on your points.
Myself I would probably replace both Tau and the VSG with 3 units of Vauls wrath D-Cannon batteries for area denial. Deploy the wraithknights and the Vaul D-cannons and reserve the rest. You want to be aggressive with your WKs so move for assault as quick as possible. Sword knight goes for IK or GC etc, Dcannon knights shoots other GC while moving up and assault other units with Stomps.

Appreciate the advice. You're correct, the Tau do seem a tad out of sync with the rest.
I should have been more specific. This list was designed for the Adepticon championship, each mission this year has a primary or secondary that involves controlling a zone or line of objectives. The VSG bubble is there to help with these missions and possibly protect the more aggressive eldar control these objectives while the Tau help clear those objectives for the top of the turn scoring denial.
But you are correct, I've slowly added more Eldar and less Tau to my list as I've been testing it. I've had such success with EWO and SMS that I have a hard time wanting to let go.
What would you say to the retaliation cadre? Essentially a buffmander, 3 individual suits, unit of missilesides and a riptide. The difference here would be the auto turn 2 deep strike. The formation specifically allows the broadsides to deep strike and have relentless, making the Tau side a bit more nimble.

Ok, that changes it a bit. The VSG would be beneficial if the objectives are clumped together in the same area.
As for the Retaliation Cadre it offers a bit more flexibility than the Firebase but you also lose the Firebase buffs. So it depends on what you value more. Also the Retcadre is more expensive points wise. If you know you will be stationary within the the VSG then the Firebase is not too bad depending on how many points you can spend.
If you go for the RetCadre i would attach the buffmander to a maxed unit of Broadsides with HYMP\EWO also bring some Marker drones to benefit the Riptide which should go for Ion pieplate\SMS. The Crisis should probably be fitted with Twin Linked Fusion for popping armor.
Still even with the VSG Drop pods or scouting armies (bikes\genestealer cult etc) can be a nightmare so you need to be able to handle that.
You might want to try a few games with the Optimized Stealth Cadre instead. It's tough, hard to hit and independent. You can infiltrate the stealth's and deepstrike the Ghostkeels using homing beacons if needed. You got Melta, EWO, Ion Pie Plates, Markerlights, Hitting rear armour, Ignore covers etc and not so reliant on the VSG. It is more points though so you have to make room for that.
Still if you can find the points for a big RetCadre or an OSC you might as well go for the Riptide Wing and utilize Doom from the Farseer and such.
Further get yourself an Inquisitor with 3 servo skulls for scout denial, best 40ish points spent with the setup you described, especially with the stealer cult available.

All excellent points. If I were to remove the hornet and small firebase I have now, that would free up enough points to get a riptide wing to fit. Which seems much more promising when compared to what it replaces.

Riptide - I would use the TL-FB for more anti armor.
Got a jet lock model to upgrade a scat pack's survivability?
Generally, save points by ditching the sword and board WK's scat guns. I Run him more now, turn 1, and he gets to h2h turn 2 more often because I am less tempted to shoot and leave him farther from a h2h target.
