So, I'm putting together some Consecrators. They are a successor chapter of the Dark Angels and their fluff is in the latest Dark Angels codex. That said, I don't think they have any different chapter tactics than the Dark Angels just a different paint scheme and different fluff. But, I wanted to make sure.

Does anyone know if the Consecrators have a Deathwing and a Ravenwing just like the Dark Angels, or are they more of a basic Space Marines successor chapter? There isn't much (if any) fluff about their chapter organization.

Thanks in advance

There are no Consecrators specific rules. All successor chapters use their normal chapter rules unless specified.

I think the codex says that most, if not all, of the DA successors have their own equivalent of the Ravenwing and the Deathwing, although they do not name theirs that. I'd say play them exactly like regular Dark Angels. And make sure to take some pics when you get them painted, because I'm sure most of us DA fans would love to see them!

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

My guess would be that they are organised like Dark angels, but I am not that familiar with the fluff.

Game wise -> they are just count as dark angels for all the rules in the game.

the dark angels legion building successors just have similar structures, but the ability to color and name them differently.

So, for rules purposes, can I use Dark Angels formations for the DA successor chapters? In other words, for rules purposes, are Consecrators just Dark Angels with a different paint scheme?

Thanks

Yes. In terms of rules you can paint it as whatever you like and it makes no difference.
