Anyway, I couldn't recover my old account so I've decided to make a new one with an annoyingly long username (Marrar Kailil is my Star Wars RP name and LifeSword is in reference to the combo in mmbn2 with the basic or elementary chip swords).
My name is Armand, there isn't that much to say about my life since it's very uninteresting but I guess it's the norms on a public forum, I'm a 21 y-o french history student and historical reenactor (roman legion, Ist century A.D. during the reign of the Emperors Nero and Caligula and later I'll try the army during the reign of Napoleon the Ist but moneyyy !). I just started playing w40k, like two days ago litteraly, I bought my Skitarii codex and the Holy Book of Rules package at my local GW store, I met cool people there including the owner of the shop who will teach me how to play the game and paint eventually. I'm torn between being a full-on competitive player (but I don't have the money yet) and stayng casual (but I don't play for fun, always for the win and I build my armies in that matter), I'll eventually introduce my little bros who are in age to play that kind of games were the Start Collecting kits would be awesome birthday gifts I guess.

Oh I'm the type of guy who likes to talk technical, who likes tabletop and card games and is annoying ! They call me The Loner yeaah The Lonerr ! (I know it's terrible)

good luck with your admech army, they have some cool stuff. Ive never played them so I don't know how competitive they are.
And also there's loads of discount websites, and ofc ebay, so if price is an issue check them out.

Thanks a lot STG, I'll take a look for sure at these websites and btw the last phrase was a god awful reference to the song "The Wanderer" by Dion (Fallout 4) My only concern with the Skitarris is that they have no transports or air units and I hesitate between the IG or Space Marines for a bond list (2000-2500 pts).

competitive? IG? nah. a lot of fun, yes.
defo go space marines if your looking for competiveness, as much as it pains me to say it. that said a small detachment of airborne vets in vendettas or something wouldn't be too bad of an idea to boost mobility. but its your choice

I thought so about IG not being competitive, I'll probably build it as my second army for fun ^^. Just to clear out something, I'm not planning to leave the local competitive area (aka my GW store and tournaments near were I live). That being said, wich chapter would you suggest me ? I hesitate between the Dark Angels and Space Wolves.
