I recently moved to the St Louis Missouri Area and wondered where the best shops to get a game of any Games Workshop stuff??
Seems that War machine has a strong foot hold in the area and not ready to make the financial comment to change over systems.
Is it mostly basement games?? And not at the point to hang out at the local GW store to find an opponent.

My information may not be completely accurate as I tend to game at home, but I think the Fantasy Shop locations still have tables for GW stuff. There's also a couple of small shops across the river in Illinois that run GW stuff as well.

Fantasy Books and Games in O'fallon, IL, if you're on that side of the river. Great store, lots of tables and terrain for open use.

If you are living on the illinois side, you need to visit Fantasy Books and Games in O Fallon/ Fairview heights. I used to work there. Among the best gaming/ comic stores in the country. The Games Workshop community there is strong. They have a league and have a tournament system supporting many dozens of players. They have communities for almost every game system they carry and if they don't they have free table play. Just check their schedule.

In Edwardsville Fantasy Books has a shop called Heroic Adventures that is identical. Strong gaming community.

Fantasy Books also bought Starclipper Comics in downtown st. louis, they don't focus on gaming but you should check them out.

+1 for the Fantasy Shop St. Charles. Although, I sometimes roll up there, I'm much more of a basement gamer myself these days.

Game euphoria in Washington Missouri has tables open every day 40k players on Wed and Saturday. If you wanna join we started a get started campaign where we all start with the $85 box or equivalent. We add 250 each month and its goin on for 5 or so months.
Im always down for a game but sadly I work at5pm so I'm never at the store very long. We have almost every race and people have lows and 30k its a nice little community and I wouldn't say we have many waac or tourney play so you may not enjoy it.
