Is this legit, I feel it is like those marketing scams aimed at college students which are just Pyramid schemes in disguise or am I paranoid.

Miniwargaming is very much a legit business and they have a strong following because of the videos they put out. So definitely get in contact with them and hopefully you can make some money.
