I recently ordered a group of Thallax and a Castellax with a darkfire cannon and am trying to replicate Forgeworld's color scheme. However, I honestly have no idea what colors would be good to even attempt it. I have a Vallejo Brassy Brass from an earlier project, but it still doesn't give the right color I am looking for as it is too dark. Anyone got suggestions on trying to replicate something like this? I also added some Tech Thralls for reference.

Not Citadel but Vallejo Game Colour Tinny Tin is a good starting point. It's the base for the pad on my Deathwatch Minotaur and looks a decent match to those Thallax:

Just added a couple of layers 70:30 and 50/50 Tinny Tin : Army Painter Gun Metal on top of the base and quick brown wash (Army Painter Strong Tone).

That looks fantastic! Yep, definitely going with that! Thanks!
