Essentially I have kyle for the extra focus for Kanan. I can theoretically negate 3 damage a turn between my own focus, the second focus turned evade because of recon/jan and the extra focus kyle will give me.
I can give kyle an extra evade dice by making sure I block the shots, giving him 3 green standard. If he goes down first then I don't lose my evade mechanic I just lose an extra focus a turn.
Thoughts?

I don't think Reinforced Deflectors is very good for a list with a focus on giving the Ghost evades. Autoblaster + Accuracy Correctors or Fire Control Systems is a solid combo.
Also I think this might be a good situation to take Experimental Interface and Lando Calrissian and put Jan on the HWK with Kyle. So in the beginning you get 2 focus + 1 evade + whatever you roll on Lando and late game when Jan and Kyle are gone you can take evade + Lando and get a focus to reduce shots or more evades.
Tactical Jammer while okay for only one point seems like a waste of the mod slot. Kyle and Jan's abilities are R1-3. Better not to tie him to the Ghost and just let him fly his own course.
The only problem is Kanan getting blocked consistently and losing his actions. Maybe Advanced Sensors is worth a look. You can even clear your stress from EI with a green maneuver after you action and leave your dial open.
I would just leave Zeb parked in the Ghost for pretty much the entire game. You aren't missing out on much and you get the 4 dice primary rear arc + double attacks.

Lando is an interesting idea and a possible way to get more evades.

Not the second one during the end phase. The way I read it, the docked Phantom permits firing the primary weapon from the Special Arc and firing of an equipped turret from the Ghost at the beginning of the end phase. Once the Phantom becomes undocked it loses both capabilities. The first sentence on the Phantom card reads "While you are docked,"

The Ghost can evade. It has the evade action. Jan Ors also can be activated *ANY* time *ANY* friendly ship at R1-3 takes a focus action or is assigned a focus token. But only once per round. Therefore, Jan Ors can be on the Hawk, and grant the Ghost an evade instead of a focus when it takes its first focus action, when a recon specialist assigns a second focus token or when Kyle Katarn grants the Ghost a third focus at the start of the combat phase.
So, as I stated, in the early game, the Ghost gets two focus from recon specialist plus a third focus from Kyle and any one of those can be turned into one evade token, plus you still get Lando's ability. Late game, you still have the Rec Spec but may have lost Jan and Kyle, but now there are less guns pointed at you, so taking an evade action + Lando will net you more defensive bonus. Possibly granting more evade tokens or focus to attack/defend with. Whereas having 0 evade tokens at that point in the game (taking two focus and not having Jan/Kyle to turn one into an evade) is suicide. Even with Kanan's ability to remove dice. A ship with 0 agility just can't afford to not have evades that late in the game, even when TIE fighters are throwing 1 red die.

But how do you accomplish taking an evade action and Lando's action? The Ghost can only ever take on per turn.

If only there was an upgrade equivalent of a side car that gave you an extra Crew slot. Then you could have Leebo in there as well for a 1pt Engine upgrade that comes with a free ion token!
