Here's the auto include section. I love it and it's been workin great.

Skitarii Maniple - 715 pts

5x Vangaurd - 2 Arquebus, Omnispex, WL
10x Vangaurd - 3 Plasmas, Omnispex
10x Rangers - 3 Arc Rifles, Omnispex

5x Rustalkers - Omni Mask Relic

1x Dragoon - Rad Jezzail

Dominus Maniple - 335 pts

Tech Priest
Onager - Neutron Laser w/ 2x stubbers
10x Vanguard - Omnispex

Okay so in a 1250 game, I've been adding coteaz, 5 acolytes, and a razorback. They pretty much do anything i need except kill big nasty things. In a 1500 list I've got 2 options I really like. Basically more troop spam (just love the vangaurd with their flood of double rending) or swap out the razorback(s) and them for a LRC and pack it full of obnoxious acolytes. The razorbacks would operate like jeeps droppin ObSec troops anywhere quick or just general support by means of a fast cheap blast of bolters. The LRC would basically be itself and do what it does best (which I dont have anything with that level of toughness currently). Crash an objective on their side and flood the objective with again a cheap big ol buckshot of bolter rounds. And they could... charge? I guess for whatever that's worth... What do you all think? Here's the two builds I had in mind.

Inquisition - 450 pts

Coteaz

Warband - 10x Acolytes (storm bolters), 1x psyker, LRC (psy ammo, extra armor)

~OR~

Coteaz

3x Warbands (each with) - 5x Acolytes (S bolters), razorback (psy ammo)

***Also add one more 10x Vangaurd - Omnispex (skitarii maniple)***

Based off slots, the first option would put me at 10 units (56 models). The second would be 12 units (72 models).

Only the heaviest of metals.

First of all I would move your plasma calibers from the skitarii maniple to the dominus maniple to help with the gets hot rolls. No point cost just free synergy.

As far as the option a or b they are pretty similar. Adding more fragile troops with moderate anti infantry firepower. Do you have access to other types of henchmen? Also please.a henchmen are dirt cheap since inquisition gets plasma guns for 10 pts for some reason. That is something to consider.

Ive thought about that. I went through the special weapons and basically, the idea comes down to 5 acolytes w/ storm bolters and three special weapons, or seven acolytes w/ s bolters and two special weps.

The meltas and flamers seem pretty good. Three three of either would make them reliable against the appropriate target. The whole unit could shoot and assault. And if holding an objective/position, 3 flamers would make for a good wall of death if charged plus the not so great BS3 wouldnt matter. Meltas would wreck MCs or armor obviously. Plasmas are great but I just dont think they're necessary w/ the skitarii and all their heavy weapons. Gets hot is a toss up because they have no rerolls unlike the skits. Also, if I really needed to disembark and charge in the same turn, I couldnt use the plasmas.

I dunno. I mean I use my Inq, whether 1250 or 1500, as an obnoxious throw away distraction. It crashes their backfield and draws enough attention to let the whole gunline move up. (or very quietly steals an objective w/ ObSec) If they manage to get into cover, I assumed it'd be an awful mess to have in one's backfield. I'd be upset if half my distraction fried itself.

Is that silly to be worried about? Are my pros vs cons for special weps not weighted correctly for what I want them to do?

I actually move those two units of vanguard back and forth between the two as needed. Just didn't note it in the list.

Only the heaviest of metals.
