Hey,

Now, I'm aware that the answer to this question will vary depending on the people running the tournament, but it would be good to get a general idea about now so I can start preparing models, strategies and whatnot.

So, I'm hoping to be able to attend an Imperial Assault tournament at Gencon this year (hence, why I'm asking the question here, as the events are not yet posted). However, I only have the contents of a starter box (plus Boba Fett), and don't want to leave my brothers without any way to play.

So my question is, from your experience, would it be acceptable/possible for me to attend an Imperial Assault tournament at Gencon using just the miniatures and cards - that is, without bringing any tiles/maps? My brothers can proxy the units they need while I'm away, but the tiles are sort of essential for them to play with. I'm hoping that I'd be able to go to Gencon and just use my opponent's skirmish maps. But maybe they would frown upon this? If everyone started doing it no one could play!

So, what do you think? Any insight anyone could provide here would be awesome.

Thanks,

Lach
