Has anyone experimented with taking Perdo Kantor with a Honor Guard squad equipped with the Standard of the Emperor Ascendant? the standard is pricey but the ability to create a +2 attack bubble seems like it can be really good. The Honor Guard themselves have 6 attacks on the charge while units like assault marines or scouts with BP and ccw's are now much more killey in assault. People will even think twice about assaulting sternguard with 4 attacks.

My question is if anyone has used this, and what units does it really help? do Vanguard Vets suddenly become a good option to use?
