I sorta want to shoehorn those two ships in a list together. I know I can't get Fat Han à la Paul Heaver in there, mainly because I want to try to combo a TLT and FCS instead of the AC/AB combo on a base Lothal Rebel frame. No points for the Phantom either.
Suggestions?

I don't think you can really squeeze Han and a VCX in, Dash on the other hand, maybe something like this
Dash Rendar with Push the Limit, Heavy Laser Cannon, Kanan Jarrus, Outrider
Lothal Rebel VCX-100, Fire-Control System, Dorsal Turret,,Han Solo,"Chopper", Engine Upgrade
This gives two reasonabley chunky ships both with 4 dice attacks.
I'm not a big fan of the TLT on the Ghost, especially without the Shuttle, focussing on the 4 dice main guns seems the way forward, the dorsal turret isn't great but usually means you won't lose a shot if arc dodged and with the FCS means you can maintain the TL, Chopper is a bit random but he's free and there may be times when trading 1 damage for an action is worthwhile.
The list could be tuned a bit more but I think its a good start

Wouldn't you try to find points for Zeb too, just in case you "crash" into something in your front arc?

Because this is a 'cheap' VCX there is no room for multi-evade shenanigans (which i think you need if you are planning to crash head on into an ace that is going to shoot first) so it's probably best to get the biggest threat in a 2-3 ship list to crash into you and be happy that it isn't going to be shooting YOU at range one either
Against a swarm, if you position yourself so the lead ship crashes into you there is a good chance one or more other ships will pile into the back of him and then you will still get to make a 5 dice attack against someone who didn't get to take an action this turn. But generally speaking the Ghost is only going to be dealing 1-2 points of unavoidable damage each turn and hopefully a point of stress and action denial. You are relying on Dash for the majority of your damage.

Then the list might not work at all, thenm I don't think it's feasible to have such an investment in points to deal just 1 or 2 damage. Especially.in my meta, I know people will identify Dash as the threat, get rid of him first and then snack on the VCX.
Food for thought.

Would Chewie work rather than Han? Thinking that way you could get a few more upgrades on both

I love me some Chewie. His pilot ability is very forgiving on such a resilient ship. At first I wanted Han for the PS he brings to the table, something like this, maybe?
I'm not sure the AC/ AB combo is really going to work on a Phantom-less ship.

I've been running this list with some success.
Hera Syndulla — VCX-100 40
Advanced Sensors 3
Autoblaster Turret 2
"Zeb" Orrelios 1
Intelligence Agent 1
Engine Upgrade 4
Ship Total: 51
Chewbacca — YT-1300 42
Push the Limit 3
Kanan Jarrus 3
Millennium Falcon 1
Ship Total: 49
I've gone a bit lighter on Chewie. He doesn't need a gunner as Push the Limit pretty much grants a focus/target lock every turn. Kanan is there to soak stress from either the Falcon or the Ghost as needed. As for the engine upgrade, I've moved it over to the Ghost.
Thanks to Advanced Sensors, EU opens up a lot of positioning options for the Ghost. Together with Hera's ability and the Intel Agent, you have a PS:7 ship that can easily catch up with PS:9s. And, flying defensively, it's almost as unpredictable as Whisper himself.
I may switch the Intel Agent to the Falcon (In the three games I've played it has managed to outlive the Ghost) and free up a crew slot on the Ghost, which could be filled by Chopper (to help in these situations when you totally need a target lock) or maybe someone else if I do away with the autoblaster turret.

I had a Navigator on her, as well as Zeb, last game, and she would bump into TIE fighters and wipe them out. The game ended when Soontir only had one move possible, and it was a white maneuver. He had stress. I promptly blew him to smithereens, it was oh so satisfying.
I'm unsure if the combination of Advanced Sensors/AB Turret is optimal or if Enhanced scopes with a turret that has more range doesn't have a bit more teeth. Although even a single unavoidable damage from AB is enough to make Soontir think twice.

What if you use the Fat Han list from Paul Heaver, switch it a bit?
