Hey guys, a few months before i heard the new codex of the Tyranids would be release for january or february 2016... So far, it seems like all the rumors are gone and we dont hear anything about it anymore... Are they still working on it or they did abandon it ????

In GWs little world, they are already updated for 7th edition with the campaign-supplement.
So this year probably not.

Yes a lot of us, myself included, were hoping to see a tyranid codex in the first half of 2016. For me that was based on the previous release rate of dexes and only a few armies needing a 7th edition dex, along with nids having their rules all over the place and the dex being a mess from day one the hope would be to consolidate and give the dex an overhaul. That all said, nobody expected a dex (this is GW after all) but hope for some was there. It seems the dex release rate has diminished and supplements/models have been released instead. Nids have got a few new models since the 6th ed dex and dataslates and supplements so as the above poster mentioned GW could consider that nids have been given things and do not need a new dex this year.

What I'm worried about is not just a new dex. This is GW and they could make a worse dex than the 6th edition dex (yes it is possible) but they could also delay a new dex so long that when it does come out we only have a few months of play time with it before 8th ed rules are released that mess up things in the dex. So for nids the situation is not very appealing.

Chaos Marines ain't looking any better...

At least alongside Orks, we can content ourselves that only donkeycave Trolls would ever claim that our armies are anything close to OP cheddar!

I certainly sympathize with CSM players when you compare CSM to what SM get (and the other armies that have been twisting in the wind as well).

Hey, don't worry, the Loyalist's new Librarius lore is literally the "screw Daemons & Tyranids" lore! Check it out;

Primaris is a witchfire
1 - WC2, reroll armor save (psyker and his unit)
2 - WC1 beam, 20"
3 - WC1 blessing, targets the psyker. Gives fearless, AW. Give a 4+ invulnerable bubble of 12"........ against witchfire power only.
4 - WC1 targets the psyker. +2 S, T, I and A.
5 - WC1 roll 2D6+ level against enemy psyker 1D6+level. On a draw or better, enemy lose 1W (no save), if you rolled way more than him he loses a power.
6 - WC2 1 enemy unit, 24". -2 to invul saves (min 6+). This is the new nullzone

So much for Tyranids/Daemons/Eldar being the supposedly 'Psychic mastery' armies. Now Marines get our toys, and the ability to take ours away from us at the same time, because... "Reasons!"
