I am thinking of taking two units of vanguard and a dunecrawler with an icarus array to ally in with my Blood Angels.

The plan is to have a unit of vanguard drop down with a Frag Cannon Furioso turn 1 and then the other squad waits until turn two.

Backing that up is a few rhinos and a bunch of death company with Dante.

I was wondering how you all like to loadout the vanguard. I will have two plasma calivers and two arc rifles to use. I am thinking one sqaud with two calivers and one with two arc rifles.

I would stick a unit in a pod with as many arc rifles as permitted (3 in a 10 man unit if I recall correctly ). If you're going to be taking dunecrawlers I highly recommend you run at least to to increase the save and firepower. Both with Icarus arrays. If you have the points run 3. Units of 3 are a bitch to kill and put out an insane amount of dakka. IMO the dune crawlers are better than any unit BA gets so I might prioritize the allied detatchment and built your CAD/rest of your force around that.

Three dunecrawlers can fire at only one target. One anti-air dunecrawler is fine; it can stay out of range of many threats. They'll be too busy dealing with your drop pods.

Vanguard are a great ally for Blood Angels. Try three units, each with two special weapons and an omnispex, all in Drop Pods. With the Ballistic Skill boost, they'll shoot and kill something roughly worth their points when they drop.

If you have extra points, add in a Skitarii Dragoon walker or two, especially if you have lots of other walker Dreadnoughts.

oh sorry I see you you said only two units. use them then. Like you said, one with arc rifles and the other with plasma.
