Hey Dakka.

I am trying to think of a fun way to fill in my last 300 points of my Grey Knight Alpha Strike list. I have 1500 points of grey knights + an aegis defense line with a com relay. I have about 300 points available to man the defense line/com relay.

Help me fill in those 300 points from the IoM. It could be inquisition, guard, SM, sisters... What is the best 300 points you can think of to hold that line that would be both effective and fluffy?

I think we need some info about what your list is. What fills those points depends on the synergy between it and the rest of your units.

Just stick with GK and get Purgators with Psycannons and Coteaz. His infinite Intercepting means they'll do great at holding your back field against enemy reserves.

Generically, I would always suggest Inquisition for GK--it's fluffy and has some great combos.
Take multiple small units with psykers in all of them for extra WC.
Have a plasma servitor unit with an inquisitor.

I'd just roll with some purifiers in rhinos. Deploy them behind the ADL by the comms relay. (The rhino can operate the Comms.) That way they get the save from the ADL vs enemy fire if they get the first turn, and Purifiers are one of the best units in the list.

the army is 2 NDK and the rest termies w/ various load outs led by a libby.

Maybe a knight warden depending on your meta I also love to run interceptors(falchions/incinerator and combat squad then) provide mobility for you object game and good unit to attack back line or to soften up units.

Interceptors. They can sit on the comms relay for the first turn reserve rolls. Then shunt up 30" to join the alpha strike.
