I am planning to get a couple of Chaos Bike squads for my Khorne Daemonkin army very soon, and I was wondering what I should put on the Champions of those units. I'm going with Meltaguns for the mooks. I'm torn between doing combi-meltas or some kind of power weapons, or even Lightning Claws or Axes of Khorne. What is the best way to outfit the bike champs?

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.
Grotsnik Corp. Sorry, No Refunds.

General rule of thumb is Melta Guns on the 2 Goons and Combi on the Champ with absolutely nothing for melee weapon Upgrades.

Their Jobs are to zip up the board, be threatening and potentially kill a tank or two or be rushed into and locked in combat for a turn while your scarier things get closer to demolishing something. AKA Your Bloodthirster or Kytan.

Id say add an Axe of Khorne if you want to have "Something" to potentially keep your champ alive in CC only because its AP2 and at initiative. But that's really only if you have the points to spare.

Life: An incomprehensible, endless circle of involuntary self-destruction.
