I am getting the battle for calth board game soon and i have a question. I really like blood angels and would like to use the models in the battle for calth box set as a blood angels army (starting of course ill add more as i get money). so my question is how should i equip the marines and such in the box to make them blood angels? i have no experience with space marines as my first army is necrons so any advice on how to equip them and whats good and not good would be much appreciated.

Are you asking List wise how to build a BA army or what things to do/add to the BaC models to look like Blood Angels?

I don't know Blood Angels' rules, but the easiest way to make them look like Blood Angels would be to buy a BA Tactical Squad box as well, and distribute the iconned bits between your (now 40) marines.

Blood angels tactical marines can take heavy flamers, so throw that bad boy one of of your mooks.

it depends:

for 40k: regular tactical squads and regular terminator squads ( especially since they are getting 40k rules)

for 30k: 2 15-man tactical squads (bolters only, though the sergeant can take combi weapons and power weapons/fists). these tacticals can also purchase extra CCWs so you can give them chainsword arms or the knifes as well. the termiantors in 30k (from the calth box, mind you) would probably function the best as either: all power fists, or all power axes/swords if you can get the bits. the too can take all combi-weapons. kheres + fist is generally the best build for contemptors in either 30k or 40k

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
