Hi guys,

I am trying to build a nice and competitive Blood Angels but i have almost no experience in 40K, only 5 games back in 6th edition, and none at all with Blood Angels so i hope you can give me some pointers and points of view on my list and strategy.
Any help you can give i really appreciate.

Dante

Sanguinary Priest with a jump pack, chapter banner and combi melta.

Sanguinary Guard, 10 man, with 2x axe and 2x inferno pistol.

Tactical Squad, 5 man, with a meltagun in a drop pod.

Death Company, 10 man, with jump packs, 2x power fist and 2x power sword.

Death Company Dreadnought with blood talons in a drop pod.

Predator with twin-linked lascannon, side sponsor lascannons and overcharged engines.

Dante and the priest will join the sanguinary guards, this way they seem like flying terminators to me. They will go over one flank to go for enemy hq/elite while the death company units go over the other flank, trying to split the enemy army a bit. The predator will probably stay back a bit in the middle and shoot all it can. First drop pods will be tacticals somewhere in the middle and try to go towards an objective. The drop pod with the dreadnought will try to drop near any troops the enemy has near an objective and go slashing.

Does this seem any good or am i missing tons of things things here? I think i might not have enough firepower / meltas if the enemy has a lot of tanks or whatever or should i be able to make it if i get close enough to them?

Thanks a lot if you can help me out a bit.

I hear it might be better if i drop the predator to fill up my tactical squads. Is this a good plan, it seems to me that all the enemy's anti tank fire will just go for my dreadnought as soon as it drops then.. making it hard for him to get to assault. Should i maybe drop both of them in that case?
