Heyo

Had a few questions about the general aesthetics of the alpha legion as per the title.

From what i can tell they seem to be fairly influenced by the Greek, from the hydras to the general way they discuss plans and politics in a democratic way (supposedly from a lexicanum)

Just wana get everyone elses opinions on the subject as i would like to make some better choices in equipment styles, details bits and stuff for my models before i fully paint all of them.

I will admit, I laughed a little bit.

I tend to think of the Alpha Legion as a bit more neutral when it comes to their armour.
Try to avoid flamboyance and stick to things like a few scales on some armour, or mabye a snake going up an arm.

TOO MUCH CHAOS!!!

well, if my understanding of their fluff is correct:

most of the time, they are pretty 'meh' on their colors, HOWEVER they are extremely martially proud, and when they take the field in force (i.e. none of the secret crap, like when they bring out the termiantors + tanks) they are rather ornate and, well, proud.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
