Elite mod for Dawn of War 2 is basically a finished product. It includes a new army, Grey Knights. Overall, I highly recommend that you check this out if you own Dawn of War 2.
They have also included new units for each army. Painboy for Orks. Sternguard/Vanguard vets for Space Marines. Eldar get Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons.
It includes balance changes to the core game. The developer appears to think this is a continuation of the core game's balancing which stopped when Relic was sold off to SEGA.
There's a downloadable EXE. It took me about 4 minutes to install. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the presentation. It's a lot of fun and probably the only good reason aside from the Necron Overlord recently added to The Last Stand to play Dawn of War 2 again.
Works with Steam version. Doesn't affect base game. Launch from an .exe shortcut that the installer puts on your desktop.

My main problem with Elite is that DoWII, even if you fix the glaring balance issues and add some extra frosting on top, is stll not attractive enough on its own two feet.
Well, at least not after 1230 hours of gameplay...
It also needs the lore factor to convince me.
