Intention with this is to make Tasers as deadly as possible, with a little help from some 10,000 year old friends.
Skitarii and Taghmata:
-- Skitarii Maniple --
Primary detatchment.
[110 pts]
2 5-man Vanilla Vanguard
(Just 10 guys with Rad carbines)
[90 pts]
2 Vanilla Sydonian Dragoons
[395 pts]
1 10-man Sicarian Infiltrators
W/ Tasers, Flechette pistols.
Princeps has the Phase Taser and Pater Radium.
-- Taghmata Allied Detatchment --
[85 pts]
1 Magos Dominus
W/ Photon Gauntlet
[185 pts]
1 4-man Scyllax
W/ Enhanced arrays, Rad-Cleanser, Frag grenades.
[135 pts]
1 Triaros Armoured Conveyor
----------------------------
Alternatively, instead of the Magos Dominus and Triaros:
[220 pts]
1 Archmagos Prime
W/ Malagra, Rad grenades, Corposant Stave, Jet pack, and Abeyant.
----------------------------
It's possible to reduce an opponents toughness by 4 with this.
(3 without the Archmagos)
I'd considered the Triaros in order to get the relatively squishy Vanguard, Scyllax, and Magos safely up the front with the Dragoons and Sicarians, but if I've ample cover (and the opponent doesn't have that many bullets), I'd go for the Archmagos and let the others foot slog.
It'll work out better for objective capping that way anyway.
Hilarity will almost certainly ensue if I can get everyone into close combat with the same unit, on the same turn.
----------------------------
Also a 750 pts version:
-- Skitarii Maniple --
Primary detatchment.
[220 pts]
2 10-man Vanguard,
Alphas take Tasers.
1 1 Sydonian Dragoon
1 5-man Sicarian Infiltrators
W/ Tasers, Flechette pistols.
Princeps has the Phase Taser and Pater Radium.
-- Taghmata Allied Detatchment --
[100 pts]
1 1 Magos Dominus
W/ An Abeyant.
1 4-man Scyllax
W/ Frag grenades, Enchanced arrays, and a Rad-Cleanser.
