I was one of the few people that actually spent time on Heroclix online before it died - what else is out that that has some elements of collecting and/or tactical gameplay?

The old "general" games for the PC should keep you occupied for a while, it came in fantasy, historic, and sci fi

Heroes of might and magic is a nice fantasy game. has some nice campaigns and skirmish games.

Don't know of any that have collecting as a focus but there are several games I play to scratch my tabletop itch, most being turn based strategy, with a few RTS that allow pausing mid battle to issue orders

Turn based: X-Com, XCOM, XCOM 2. If you have an emulator, the advanced wars and fire emblem games are excellent as well and you can even put those on your phone

RTS with pause: Napoleon Total Warfare, codename panzer phase I, Blitzkrieg,

'I've played Guard for years, and the best piece of advice is to always utilize the Guard's best special rule: "we roll more dice than you" ' - stormleader

"Sector Imperialis: 25mm and 40mm Round Bases (40+20) 26€ (Including 32 skulls for basing) " GW design philosophy in a nutshell
