The Blood Ravens being a fleet-based chapter, it always made since to me that they would be best utilized as a lightning strike, rapid insertion army. Using the Angels of Death supplement, I think I've finally come up with a way to show this on the tabletop! A couple things to note: this isn't meant to be the most competitive list. It's meant to be strong, but not overpowered. The idea is to be able to have a chance against a tournament list (only one player in my meta actively pursues the cheesiest builds) while still allowing casual players (the vast majority of my meta) to have fun against it. Without further ado:

Obviously, this is a null-deployment army. (The Codex Astartes calls this maneuver Steel Rain) The conclave will start out attached to the Sternguard in the Stormraven. Unless
GW FAQs the Battle Brothers in transports rulling, my group decided that different detachments from the same faction are not Battle Brothers. They are same faction. Turn one, I will bring in the Annihilation Force with the multi-meltas near a vehicle if one exists, or near an
MC otherwise. The missile Launchers will drop in further back while staying in range and provide suppressing fire. For the Orbital Strike Force, I will try to choose a "drop zone" with at least two objective markers inside the 12" bubble. I will most likely combat squad the Tacticals with the Plasma Cannon in one group and the Plasma Gun and Combi in the other. The exception is the squad without a Cannon. I will split up the Combi and
PG in that squad. The Ravenhawk will kind of be a "jack of all trades" formation with the Sternguard focusing on
MCs and the Stormraven will focus on vehicles and any fliers involved (we are only using Death From the Skies in certain games, so it will still have the Skyfire option).
This is basically an all-or-nothing army. If I roll poorly on my reserve rolls turn 2, I'll likely be dead in the water by turn 3, but that's part of the fun her
Any thoughts or suggestions? Note: I won't be giving the Devastators Grav weapons even if I can find the points. That's what takes the Skyhammer Annihilation Force from "really strong" to "stupidly cheesy". Any other suggestions are more than welcome, though.
