Ok so this is my first post on here. I haven't played since 6th ed, and im now entering into an era when chaos just sucks. Regardless, im trying to build a fairly fluffy Crimson slaughter army from the 9k points i have lying around. Competitiveness is not needed, although not getting steamrolled would be nice. Heres my first idea for a list

How will the smaller squads be getting around?

In general footsloggers, terminators and Predators sucks for CSM.

Chaos Lords should have a bike + MoN or a Juggarnut +Mok and a shield of CSM bikers or Spawns. And give the Lord grenades.

Allies make CSM far better than CSM standalone. But I would recommend Renegades & Heretics to get cheap but fairly useful infantery, cheap and very useful artillery/anti tank, the whole IG arsenal, zombies and more. Unfortunally not so fluffy for a chapter as CS, that is described as "(C)SM only" as opposed to older CSM that use slaves/prisoners as cannon fodder and have gathered a lot of cultists as support troops.

One way around the fluff would be to explain the R&H as allies the Crimson Slaughter found in the Eye of Terror.
