Hi everyone!

I'm looking at starting a 500 point chaos daemon list for a local escalation league and have drafted two lists (Khorne Daemonkin and mono-Slaanesh) to that end. I'm struggling to play anything other than a CAD at this points level so not too concerned about formations just yet - unless I am missin something significant.

The aim is to move up in 250 point increments, but as I have zero experience playing with or against chaos daemons I could use the help! I'd like people's opinions on a) which army to go for (tactics seem reasonably similar for both), b) whether either list is any good (i.e., won't get shot to bits by turn 2), and c) what could be changed to make either more competitive!

List 1 - Slaanesh CAD

Slaanesh Daemons are only good when you have tons of them, or when you have tougher units to distract/support them.

The KDK list you have there is much more durable, although I would swap the BLs for Cultists and use the points for more Hounds.
