anyone have tips pointers? I have Trueborn for Anti tank, Dark artisan for anti MC or to hold a squad forever. Grots to deal with elite and anti troop. court drops in and flames a squad to death (hopefully) the enhanced sails should get the grots up the board on turn one. troops are there because, well, I had to bring them haha.

if anyone can think of a better point sink that'll give me the same results I'd love to hear your opinions.

It's good overall, my main concern is with the jink FAQ change, those trueborn may see some drastic reduction in effectiveness. It's not final yet, but could hurt the unit. If the jink ruling sticks, you may want to use them as warriors so you can at least have a bunch of obj sec units on the board.

Also the Archon/medusae unit is pretty powerful, however once it lands it gets blown away immediately. I understand you want WWP for precise DS but you may want to consider the medusae without the Archon so you're not losing so much when enemy kills the unit the following turn.

The rest looks pretty good. A Succubus runs really well with the Grots for some AP2 attacks, and they keep her alive.

very true about the trueborn and the new jink ruling, what am I supposed to do though, take 3 units of Scourge?

I keep the Archon in the unit because he has a shadowfield (2+ invuln) I usually place him in front of any enemies when the venom gets destroyed so he can tank the wounds

I'll have to look at getting a succubus, how do you kit her out?

Well test the trueborn out, I've never fielded them much because I spend my points on Reavers (probably too much). If they seem to be jinking too much, then DSing haywire scourges are decent. My AT comes in the form of a few ravagers, razorwings and reaver HOW. Also reavers got better with FAQ since they now hit the side they're facing.

Yeah the Archon can tank but my SF shorts out usually too early. I haven't used my Archon with the new codex because his wargear went up in points. He also can't tank explosions since those are randomly allocated. If he seems to absorb a lot of damage for you then awesome.

For the Succubus, just the archite glaive and haywire grenades. She provides a bit more offense and can attack at int with grenades.

so after mathing it out I can actually bring scourges with blasters for much cheaper because I dont have to worry about the venom point tax. I can also move 12" a turn with them albeit they are fragile. I think this gives me a better anti tank option than ravagers.
