The battle field had six 2' by 2' sections (2 rows of 3).

The stormcast setup in a corner defense position on a hill. Teclis was setup in an arcane ruins on the hill (+1 casting). The unit of retributors and the Lord Castlellant and Gryph Hound were setup off board.

Turn 1 dice roll: The Stormcast won the dice roll to determine who goes first, and they let chaos move first.

Turn 1 Chaos Hero phase: Both chaos sorcerer lords attempted to summon daemons (bloodletters and another daemon prince); but both failed. General placed inspiring presence on the blood reavers. Neither bloodsecrator placed the banner (too far away from the stormcast). The bloodstoker helped the bloodsecrator move faster.

Turn 1 Chaos move phase: everyone ran, except one Daemon Prince.

Turn 1 Chaos shooting phase: Skull Cannon shot at the stormcast, but missed.

Turn 1 Chaos Charge phase: Daemon Prince tried for a long charge (over 10"), but failed.

Turn 1 Stormcast Hero phase: Teclis cast 3 spells (+1 armor save on the fulminators, tempest on the blood reavers, and d3 mortal wounds on Baudwulf the Daemon Prince). Celestant Lord on Dracoth made all stormcast within 24" immune to battle shock. One of the priests cast lightning on a unit of chaos knights.

Turn 1 Stormcast move phase: Fulminators and Celestant on Dracoth moved closer to Chaos army. Flying Stormcast missile troops moved closer to chaos army.

Turn 1 Stormcast missile phase: Judicators, Knight Venator, and Prosecutors combined their missiles to annihilate Baudwulf the Soulshriver, returning him to the warp. 2 Blood reavers slain from misc missile fire.

Turn 1 Stormcast charge phase: Fulminators and Celestant on Dracoth charged into combat with 2nd Daemon prince and blood crushers.

Turn 1 Stormcast combat phase: 2nd Daemon prince slain in combat with stormcast (both warband leaders have returned to the warp); Slaughterbrute piles into combat and starts wearing down Stormcast cavalry.

Turn 1 Battleshock: 3 Blood reavers flee (carrying their slain brothers skulls to the skull throne)

Turn 2 Dice Roll: Stormcast win again even though chaos tried having someone else roll the dice. Stormcast elect for the double turn and go first.

Turn 2 Stormcast Hero Phase: Teclis cast tempest on the chaos knights (1 mortal wound and half movement); Teclis cast mortal wounds spell and armor save spell. Stormcast general used his 24" immune to battle shock ability.

Turn 2 Stormcast movement phase: Retributors deploy to reinforce the stormcast cavalry. Lord castleant and gryph hound arrive in the rear to assassinate a chaos sorcerer lord.

Turn 2 Stormcast missile phase: Scyon the Blood Splattered is eliminated by focused missile fire. Bloodsecrator also takes heavy missile fire, but survives thanks to his heavy armor and hiding behind a gateway. Gultragar the Khorgorath is perforated by missile fire, but survives with one wound remaining. Dracoth lightning eliminates the chaos chariot and damages the slaughter brute.

Turn 2 Stormcast charge phase: Retributors fail their charge. Lord Castleant rolls a 9 to charge into the chaos sorcerer lord.

Turn 2 combat: Lord castleant and gryph hound reduce chaos sorcerer lord to one wound remaining. Chaos Sorceror Lord inflicts 3 damage on Lord Castleant. One of the dracoth cavalry dies in combat as the slaughter brute and bloodcrushers continue to fight the dracoth cavalry.

Turn 2 Chaos Hero Phase: (general is dead, so no command ability). Gorthus the Chaos Sorceror Lord re-summons Baudwulf the Soulshriver (daemon prince) back from the warp. 2nd chaos sorcerer who is in combat with lord castleant summons a unit of 10 bloodletters. Bloodstoker speeds up Skullbreaker the skullgrinder. Both bloodsecrators place their banners, summoning the blood red rain to pour from the skies as the power of Khorne's realm enters the battlefield.

Turn 2 movement: Chaos forces move closer to stormcast army. forces aren't running, as we're going to attempt charges.

Turn 2 chaos shooting: Skull cannon misses. 2 Khorgoraths inflict some missile shots on the dracoth cavalry.

Turn 2 chaos charges: Blood warriors charge into the Dracoth combat. Skullgrinder charges into the Knight venator. Bloodreavers charge into Prosecutors. Gultragar the Khorgorath charges into Prosecutors.

Turn 2 chaos combat: Lord Castleant slays the 2nd chaos sorcerer lord. Gultrager the Khorgorath slays a prosecutor, heals a wound, but is then slain by the prosecutors. Many blood warriors are slain by the Dracoth cavalry. Lord Cellestant on Dracoth is slain by the Slaughter Brute and Blood Warriors and Khorgorath.

Turn 2: no battle shock

Turn 3 dice rolls: Chaos Wins and goes first.

Turn 3 Hero phase: Gorthus the chaos sorcerer lord summons another Daemon Prince. Bloodsecrators maintain the Portals of Skulls.

Turn 3 movement: remaining chaos forces move closer.

Turn 3 chaos shooting: Cannon and Khorgoraths ineffective.

Turn 3 chaos charges: Everything charges (everything is now close enough).

Turn 3 combat: Bloody Glorious Combat in the name of the Skull Throne.

Game called on account of time. We declare it a tie, although if the game went on the forces of stormcast were going to suffer now that it was no longer a ranged combat game and is now a melee game.
